Breezy Day!

It was just too nice a day to not go to the park today..and with a good breeze...Ella finally got to fly her kite! She's a natural at it!

Spring Rains...

After being stuck in the house all day saturday..the rain had let up enough that I decided to take Ella out to 'splash' around in the puddles. Amazing how something so simple can bring so much joy. She was soaked, cold, dirty, and very happy!!

Derby Week!

It's Springtime in Louisville! Derby week wasn't to eventful this year..actually kind of laid back compared to years past. We got to take Ella to the Pegasus Parade on Thursday, she danced to the band music, went crazy for Ronald Mcdonald (she was scared of the Hamburgler though!), and had fun waiving at all the people!

We didn't get to the Derby this year, and glad for that now that it's rained all weekend long,,but we did make it out to Churchill for the Oaks, and had a great day! Didn't win any money, but a good time was had by all!
