It Truely is a small world....

A funny thing happened when we got to the hospital on friday morning..you see Laura, like most women, sees an OB that is part of a larger group of doctors, any of which could end up delivering your child. During the pregnancy, we tried to see as many as possible, but were not able to get to see each one.

As it turns out, the doctor who was on call that day and delivered Ella, we never saw for an appointment during the pregnancy. As I found out that morning as she was making rounds, that she was my neighbor in college during her first year of Med School at UK.

Who would have thought that my neighbor in Lexington Ky, would end up delivering Ella in Louisville 12 years later. So it goes to show, that you never know who you will run into in life, or in this case run into again...so make sure you leave a good impression, they may be your doctor some day!
